about

Put simply, My Favourite Fruits is a blog about food in all its glory.

Generally, the author of this blog, (Fruit Loop) and her husband (Mr L) spend their time eating and drinking their way around Australia. Regularly, those indulgences are interesting, delicious and worth writing home about!

About Fruit Loop and Mr L

Fruit Loop is a self proclaimed foodie and sometime chef. Certainly in her own kitchen, she is the Head Chef, and Mr L comes in at close second, holding the regularly contended position of Sous Chef. Regardless of the infighting, both Fruit Loop and Mr L aspire to produce consistently tasty foods – inspired by travels, restaurants, friends, family and peers.

Why Favourite Fruits?

Fruit Loop has a kooky saying when she finds something she loves. It isn’t uncommon to have her refer to a mushroom filled with sharp tasty cheese, toasted pinenuts and oregano as “one of my favourite fruits.” So don’t be fooled… This is not a blog about fruit alone. Apologies fruitarians (though we promise to occasionally feature fruit-focused fare) – but we hope that our fruity sense of humour and fetching posts keep others entertained too!
